Falling Water falls is a beautiful small waterfall that flows into an emerald green pool of water near the town of Ben Hur in Newton County, Arkansas.   Driving southeast on highway 68 you'll turn left onto county road 1205 and drive approximately 2.5 miles until you see it on your right.  There is no trail as the falls are immediately adjacent to the dirt road.

Inside Info - There are no tricks to finding this gem.  Just click on the directions link above and you can drive right to it.  There isn't an official parking place but there is enough room on the side of the road to park your vehicle and leave plenty of room for traffic to pass.  You have to walk down a small embankment to get to the pool and the creek but it's not difficult or strenuous in any way.  This is a really peaceful place but it can tend to be a bit crowded on nice days due to the ease of access to this location.  We walked along the creek and pool and also climbed the small bank to the top of the falls.  The rocks can be very slick so be careful.   There are also some smaller waterfalls in the creek past the lower side of the pool and falls.  This is only a few miles down the dirt road from Six Finger Falls and Fuzzy Butt Falls so I recommend you make plans to visit all three in the same day.

Final Word - This is a beautiful place that can be enjoyed by everyone.  There is no hike as the falls are located adjacent to county road 1205 in Newton county.  A few of the rocks are slick but other than that there isn't anything difficult or challenging in enjoying this place.
